To ALL Reps:

Good Afternoon,

I am pleased to announce that we have picked up a new client. I have started sending out these rush orders. We have to manually download these to IA, and manually upload these to SCR.

There will be a letter attached to each inspection, and a phone contact in the instructions. You will find the instructions for each inspection on page 2 of the attachment. SCR has more than one client, so the instructions and contact name/number vary from inspection to inspection.

Call me if you have any questions.

Below is an email from the client outlining some examples of the narrative required on each inspection:

Remember that we need incredibly thorough results using complete sentences and correct grammar. The goal with all order results is to tell a story of your visit, giving us a complete picture as if we were there ourselves. Treat your results as if you were our client, and ask yourself if you’d be happy with the information you’ve provided if you were paying for it. We pride ourselves on excellent service and follow through, and our attention to detail in reporting is what sets SCR Group apart in this industry. You are a key part of that service, and we want your results to reflect your hard work in the field. I’ve included quite a few examples of excellent results below that cover a range of what could happen in the field, and thank you in advance for diligently using these as a model when reporting orders.

  • Contact was attempted to the home address at 5 Super Dr. Anywhere, TX at 6:25pm on 11/11/15. Residence is a 2 story brick home in an upscale neighborhood. There was no answer at the front door after several knocks. The collateral was not seen on the property or street. Contact letter was sealed in a confidentially marked envelope addressed to the customer and attached to the front door.

  • Contact was attempted to the home address at 5 Slimline Dr. Smithville, TX at 6:25pm on 11/11/15. Residence is a 2 story brick home in an upscale neighborhood. There was no answer at the front door after several knocks. The collateral was not seen on the property or street. Contact letter was sealed in a confidentially marked envelope addressed to the customer and taped to the front door. The home appears to be occupied based on belongings inside and outside the home. There was no name posted to the home or mailbox indicating who lives here. Home does/does not have a garage/carport (attached or detached). etc...

  • Contact attempt was made on May 7, 2015 at 1:05 pm at 123 Smith Lane in Bradenton, Florida. There was no answer when the agent knocked so the sealed and marked envelope was posted to the door. The collateral vehicle was on the premises (see pictures) and the Florida plates were 123 ABC.

  • I attempted contact at 2121 E LaneI Jones CA 93535 on 5/6/15 at 4:35 PM. I spoke with a male party who did not to give his name. The male party indicated that Ruben Carrillo used to live at the property over a year ago but that he no longer lives there and that the present male is now the tenant. The male party offered no contact information for Ruben Carrillo nor did he wish to accept the field letter. I thanked him for his time and left the premises. The collateral vehicle was not present at the property.

  • Agent attempted contact at given address of 1752 Pepperwood Way, Jones, NC 12345 (Brunswick) on 05/06/2015 at 6:52 pm. Agent knocked on front door and rung doorbell several times but no one answered. Agent noted City Utility Disconnect Notice and Real Estate Lock Box on front door knob. Agent looked in home’s front windows; home lacked furnishings so appeared to be vacant. Consequently, agent did not leave contact letter on the front door. Collateral was not parked in driveway and sides of home were fenced so agent could not view back yard. Agent took photos of disconnect notice, lock box, house number, residence and street sign then left premises.

  • Agent arrived at contact’s given address of 1215 S. 8th St, Mytown, NC 28422 (New Hanover) on 05/06/2015 at 6:02 pm. Agent noted that collateral was parked on the street in front of the residence. Agent knocked on the front door and female occupant answered. Agent asked occupant if Customer JAMES STONE or LARA STONE were at home. Occupant stated that she was LARA STONE. Agent stated to Customer “that she was there on behalf of SCR Group, a service provider for ABC Bank, who is trying to reach you by telephone but has been unable to reach you." Agent gave customer sealed security white envelope printed Confidential for JAMES STONE and/or LARA STONE. Agent then requested that Customer call the Client. Customer stated that she and her husband were obtaining the funds to make the payments and she would call tomorrow. Agent took photos of the Collateral: Year: 2014 Make: DODGE, Model: GRAND CARAVAN, the residence and then left premises.

  • Contact was made at 356 Patio Ln, Palm Springs FL 33123 on 05/06/2015 at 5:33 PM. Jose Francois was not at the residence. Contact was with an adult female who would only identify herself as a friend who verified that he did reside there and said she would forward the confidential marked and sealed envelope containing the contact letter to him when he got home. The collateral was not identified on the property. Other vehicle onsite was a Mitsubishi Eclipse, Red, Tag# 123MINE FL.

  • Attempt was made at 4:00pm on 5-6-15. I arrived at the address at the end of cul-de-sac and photographed the residence and a Nissan under the carport. I knocked on door and a lady came out with a young child and stated the applicant no longer lived there. She stated her car was a 2002 and not the car the agent was looking for. She addressed herself as the applicant’s step mother and accepted the letter on her behalf.

  • Our adjuster checked 123 Fort Dearborn St Detroit, MI which is a two story brick house with a one car garage without windows. The unit was not located. Our adjuster made contact with a relative who verified that the customer lives at the given address, but was not home at that time. The letter was accepted. Vehicles seen at the given address had the following license plates: VW red Beetle, MI plate # 123BUG. Our adjuster did not attempt contact with the neighbors during this trip per Client Directives.

  • I arrived to the address located at 123 NW Adriatic St in Jensen Beach FL on Wednesday May 6, 2015, at 5:35 p.m. This is a 2 story condominium in a newer neighborhood but I could not deliver the letter due to the fact I did not have a unit number and there was not an intercom system at the gate to look it up. Since the collateral was not located at the property I took a few photos of the front of the complex.

  • On 04/09/2015 at 4:30 pm, contact attempted to the provided address of 123 SE 17TH LANE, CAPE CORAL, FL 33990. Put the address into my GPS which took me to 17th Lane. The first home on 17th Ln is Address: 223 SE 17th Ln. Cape Coral. Please see photo. The address 123 SE 17th Lane did not exist. I ran the address on Lee Property Appraisal Site and it also stated that the property didn't exist.

  • Contact attempt was made to 20 Montclair Drive, Sarasota on April 11, 2015 at 12:50pm. The agent canvassed the area for several minutes in an effort to locate 20 however the closest number found was 24. The next number residence was higher than 24 Subsequently, the agent researched online and did not locate any residential information for 20 that would indicate a residence is located at the address. As of this time, the agent was unable to locate a residential address. The agent documented the cross streets and vacant land nearby however it was not possible to determine if the vacant land was associated with 20. The letter was not possible to deliver at this time and the collateral was not seen

You can see that the examples above tell the story of what happened during the servicing of this order, which is crucial to the follow through by our clients after every field visit. And even though photos submitted along with each set of results show the address and/or license plate number on the collateral, the written description must be included in your update. This streamlines the referencing by our clients without having multiple sources to refer to.
