Good afternoon to All Reps,
We have had a lot of inclement weather in Texas this year. Along with bad weather comes damage. Along with damage comes repairs. Along with repairs comes LOSS DRAFTS. Please review your SOP for loss drafts and insure that:
· Set Required Appointment and report back to PNA. We must update the client daily until the appointment is set, and reported to the client. Send your updates on the info/comments page of InspectorADE. Enter comments/select administrator/save.
· Print and review the scope. If there is interior damage, then we must inspect the interior as well as the exterior. You will very rarely find when there is roof damage that there is not some damage inside of the home.
· Take all of the required photos: Street sign, neighborhood, address, front of home, sides of home, rear of home, outbuildings/gazebo, all completed repairs, all repairs in progress, incomplete repairs as listed on the scope.
· Submit the insurance loss form. Print, complete, sign, and get the home owner/contact signature on the insurance loss form. This form must be attached on IA as a PDF.
· Make sure the % complete is agreeable to the homeowner/contact per the scope. Additional repairs that are not listed on the scope do not count. The % complete is figured by dividing the $$complete by the $$allowed on the scope. Example $90,000 completed repairs divided by $100,000 allowed = .90 to convert to % move the decimal point 2 spaces=90% complete.
· ALL inspections must be uploaded to PNA on the day of completion.
· If for any reason you cannot complete a loss draft order at the appointed time, the contact refuses to sign the form, the contact refuses to allow you to inspect repairs listed on the scope, the contact is a no show, etc… you MUST notify PNA immediately before you leave the property.
· All rescheduled appointments must be approved by PNA prior to completion.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
